Tie-Dye Flowers
Materials:
Coffee filters
Markers
Spray bottle or dropper
Pipe cleaners
How to:
Use markers to color coffee filters
Place colored coffee filters on newspaper lined cookie sheets (or something to protect the surface underneath from being tie-dyed)
Spray the coffee filters with a spray bottle of water or use the dropper to squeeze drops of water (using a dropper is great for those with more developed fine motor skills, OR for those who need some practice developing their fine motor skills)
Watch as the water spreading creates a tie-dye effect
Let dry
Twist coffee filter to form a flower shape and attach a pipe cleaner for the stem
If you're motivated to tie-dye shirts, here's the kit we use.
This looks fun!
We always love to pair a craft with a book. This is the cutest book about giving yourself grace and being patient with yourself.
Love you, mean it.
